just wanted us to give them a place, we said ok
we’ll give you a place and let us see the
magic you can do. Believe me, we saw the magic they
have done. We have seen how starting from a health
center they extend to health clinics and from health
clines to health posts. They have transformed village
girls and made them useful to their community and
to themselves. I think it is really magic.

Tulsi
Chanrai Foundation is purely a health revolution,
in the sense that it is targeted at the poor masses.
It has made health not just affordable but accessible
to our people.

Above all
I think Tulsi Chanrai Foundation’s Primary
Health Care sites have proven that it is possible
to achieve millennium development goals over relatively
short periods and with modest means. I believe this
is very very important for alternate health service
and delivery care givers to take note of and see
how this model can be replicated and further introduced.
